⛏ PARDON MY DUST ⛺
This is an extremely minimal placeholder as I get this site set up. I just unexpectedly lost access to my treasured domain of ten years, milky.flowers, because it was swiped out from under my nose without my realizing after the registrar I was using, Uniregistry, was bought out by GoDaddy, due significantly to their different and vastly more user-hostile policies. Whoever owns it now probably has no interest in doing anything cool with it and is just hoping to extort me (prove me wrong, whoever you are...). I guess this is entry #10232841 in my list of reasons why I hate intellectual property. If we really strive, maybe we can establish a high enough level of social harmony online that we'll have no need for this deplorable set of social customs which treat domain names as a commodity. I dream of this world.
Anyway, this domain at least has the advantage of being easier to find in search engines if you're looking for my website, because in the years since I registered milky.flowers, spinnylights has become my handle basically everywhere. I've been meaning to redo my site anyway since the prior one was missing huge amounts of my work and had gotten quite long in the tooth, and now that my old domain is kaput I don't have much reason to preserve the directory structure of the old site since all the links to it everywhere will be broken anyway (rrgghhhh), so I guess I'm free to really reimagine it. Watch this space, I suppose.
